City’s Mobile Office heads to Athlone and Nyanga

Next week the City of Cape Town’s Mobile Office will be heading to Vangate Mall in Athlone on Tuesday, 15 July 2025, as well as to the KTC Hall in Nyanga on Friday, 18 July 2025. Several City departments will also be in attendance at Vangate Mall as part of the City’s Basket of Services offering. Residents are encouraged to take advantage of the services at each mobile office visit.

• Tuesday, 15 July 2025, from 09:00 to 15:00 at Vangate Mall, Jakes Gerwel Drive, Athlone
• Friday, 18 July 2025, from 09:30 to 13:30 at the KTC Hall, 39 G Ntamo Street, KTC, Nyanga

• Human Resources for enquiries about bursaries, internships, and apprenticeships
• Community, Arts and Culture Development to find out how you can get involved
• Business Hub and Jobs Connect
• Customer Relations
• Health to find out more about primary health care services
• Safety and Security for information about traffic and law enforcement services
• EPWP and jobseekers to give unemployed youth an opportunity to register on the jobseekers’ database to make them eligible for job opportunities that become available.

At KTC Mall in Nyanga, the City’s Customer Relations Department’s mobile team will assist residents with logging queries and service requests electronically. Customers can engage with the City on a wide range of non-emergency enquiries such as rates, sewerage, electricity, water, refuse collection and all other account enquiries.

‘This is the City’s commitment to bringing its services closer to communities and making local government more accessible to residents. City staff will be on site to provide guidance and assistance on queries arising on both these days next week.

Residents are reminded to bring along their IDs or municipal accounts to help ease the process on the day,’ said the City’s Mayoral Committee Member for Corporate Services, Alderman Theresa Uys.
